Slave to Serenity
This prayer has given strength and solace to millions:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
the courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference.
We’ve captured the beauty and power of this prayer as never before – with, um, Slave Leia and Jabba the Hutt.
A couple people have asked us which of our samplers is our favorite – and there’s no way we could ever pick one as an absolute favorite. But this is our favorite.
Of course it’s on Etsy. SOLD
More pictures, including “making of”, below the fold…
Leia’s chain is actually a metalic emrboidery thread, crocheted and woven into the design; and Jabba is complete with little tiny knotted warts.

I haven’t done a cross-stitch in over a decade but if you sold a pattern for this, I would pay a decent amount of money for it. Please let me know if you do!
